Data protection declaration

This data protection declaration explains how the Eurospider website complies with Swiss and European data protection regulations, namely the Swiss Data Protection Act [5] and DPO [6] as well as the GDPR [7].

The Eurospider website includes all webpages that can be accessed using the link https://www.eurospider.com/*. These webpages are managed and made accessible using JOOMLA, Eurospider’s internal content management system (CMS). Other subdomains (e.g. kyc.eurospider.com or spiderview.eurospider.com) are not part of the Eurospider website.

Log files [1] are necessary to monitor how the website is functioning and to identify and correct potential problems. The log files are automatically deleted or overwritten within four weeks (Apache default setting). Individuals are not identified through the information stored in the log files, for example, IP addresses. Eurospider does not share log files with third parties.

Systems such as Google Analytics are used to record and analyze website usage information. Eurospider ensures that these tools comply with the GDPR [3].

Cookies are used to make the website more user-friendly, for example by storing information that has already been entered. The user is made aware of the use of cookies and can refuse them. Alternatively, the user can deactivate cookies in their browser [2].

An individual may request that the Eurospider data protection contact (see below) delete their personal data. The data will be deleted:
•    If the data directly relates to the person who requests the Eurospider data protection contact to delete their data, and
•    If the data is not required for proper business management, and
•    If the data is not required for the fulfillment of a legal requirement, and
•    If misuse of the data protection regulations can be ruled out.

By registering, the customer expresses an interest in using a service. For each service, the data required for the provision of services and to prevent the misuse of these services is collected. This includes, for example, claiming a free trial multiple times. Registration data is not shared with third parties.

The contact form initiates contact with us and collects the necessary data; for example, names, telephone numbers and email addresses. Contact information is not shared with third parties.

All newsletters sent contain full details about the author and can be unsubscribed from at any time. Systems such as Mailgun are used for the optimization of newsletters. Eurospider ensures that these tools comply with the GDPR [4].

Questions and concerns regarding data protection should be directed to Peter Schäuble either by telephone (+41 43 255 25 25) or via the contact form (https://www.eurospider.com/en/contactus).
