The My-SSID app is designed to help you manage verifiable credentials that are automatically checked. Think of it as a digital identity card that you have full control over. And, unlike with other types of IDs, you have complete authority over your credentials.
Zero Knowledge Proof
A crucial aspect of My-SSID is its unique cryptographic key pair. This key allows you to prove that you possess a private key without needing to reveal it to others. A third party can verify this without accessing the actual key. This concept is referred to as a Zero Knowledge Proof because it enables you to demonstrate your knowledge of something without divulging the specifics.
